Stephen E. Rasmussen is a licensed attorney in the State of California and has been practicing law since 1999. Mr. Rasmussen received his law degree from Chapman University School of Law in 1999 and bachelor degrees from the University of California, Irvine in 1994 where he studied Criminology, Law & Society and Environmental Analysis & Design. Mr. Rasmussen’s areas of practice include Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Trusts & Estates, Wills & Probate, and Business Law. Mr. Rasmussen is also an experienced real estate and fraud consultant.

 

Doug Bickham

Doug Bickham is a licensed attorney in the State of California and has been practicing law since 2002. Mr. Bickham received his law degree from Western State University College of Law in 2002 and his MBA from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 1984. Mr. Bickham has nearly twenty-five years of professional business experience, including the last seven years as a transactional attorney with extensive experience handling all aspects of business and real estate legal matters.

 

Marsha Rasmussen

Marsha Rasmussen is a legal assistant at the law firm. Ms. Rasmussen received her Associate of Arts degree from the College of the Sequoias in 1987. Ms. Rasmussen has held her real estate license since 1993. Ms. Rasmussen has over twenty years experience in the real estate industry including positions as a loan officer, loan auditor, property manager, and title & escrow assistant. Ms. Rasmussen also ran North-South Development, a custom home building company, in the California Central Valley.

KARYN BANNER

Karyn is our Legal Secretary. Miss Banner is a graduate of the American Bar Association accredited Paralegal Program at the University of California, Irvine. Miss Banner brings over 7 years of mortgage banking experience to the firm. Miss Banner has prior work experience at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and Superior Court, Harbor Justice Center.





John Hoetker
JOHN HOETKER
// Creditor Liaison

John Hoetker is a Creditor Liaison with the law firm. Mr. Hoetker graduated from Xavier University with a B.S.B.A. in Economics. Mr. Hoetker has over thirty years experience in the mortgage banking industry. Prior to joining the law firm, Mr. Hoetker conducted due diligence audits on large pools of mortgages for a Wall Street securitization firm. Mr. Hoetker was also a Vice President of Investor Relations for a large mortgage banking firm working with investors purchasing over $1 billion a month in residential mortgages.

Steven Gutmann is a Creditor Liaison with the law firm. Mr. Gutmann graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. During his time in college, Mr. Gutmann gained several years of experience working with homeowners associations. Mr. Gutmann is currently completing the California State Bar accredited Paralegal Program at the University of California, Irvine.



Garrett De Blauw
GARRETT DE BLAUW
// Legal Assistant / File Coordinator

Garrett De Blauw is a file coordinator and IT consultant with the law firm. Mr. De Blauw handles our client files as well as database management. Mr. De Blauw graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Science in International Business. After a brief background in finance and some experience with a venture capital firm, Mr. De Blauw was hired by the firm for the purpose of implementing measures that will process client matters more expeditiously.



Randy Hernandez
RANDY HERNANDEZ

Randy Hernandez is a file coordinator with the law firm. Mr. Hernandez assists Mr. De Blauw with client files as well as database management. Mr. Hernandez is scheduled to graduate from Hope International University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Hernandez completed the California State Bar accredited Paralegal Program at the Southern California International College. Mr. Hernandez has prior work experience as a paralegal and legal assistant.



Robert J. Hagan

Robert J. Hagan is a Public Relations Director with the law firm. Mr. Hagan graduated from the University of California at Riverside in 1973. Mr. Hagan brings over thirty five years of real estate related experience to the firm. Mr. Hagan’s responsibilities while working in the title insurance industry included manager, account executive, title officer, and underwriter. Mr. Hagan’s background gives him a unique, in-depth understanding of the real estate market, problem solving, and public relations.

ANDREW SIMON

Andrew Simon is a Realtor Liaison with the law firm. Mr. Simon graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Management and Organizational Behavior. Mr. Simon has five years of experience working in the title insurance industry. Mr. Simon’s primary role with the firm will be improving direct communication with real estate brokers and assisting listing agents with properly structuring short sale offers.
